Dianna, my friend that I met at the University of Alberta, contacted me for a session with her husband.  She was totally trusting of my vision and we had so much fun running in fright from the grasshoppers (okay, I will admit, that was just me).

Dianna, you are such a fantastic person and one of the most caring people I have met.  Thank you for letting me create these images for you.   I hope you enjoy them for years to come.

These are some of my favorite people in the world…my extended family (aunt, uncle, cousins, significant others and a couple of newbies to the family).  When I heard that they would be together in one location for one day, I jumped at the chance to do some pictures for them.  It has been years since their last family photos, so I think it was time.

I hope you enjoy the pictures…and if you don’t, well I guess you could disown me.

So I was guilted in to take a few new pictures of my kids (you know who you are…Angela).  I thought it would be a good time to take a few new ideas and put them to the test.  The balloon inspiration was from the new Our Lady Peace CD cover…not that I am a fan, just passed it in the store.

My kids are the best….they are more than willing to help me out with pictures.  My little girl told me that whenever she needed help at a wedding, she would come along and hold an umbrella over me (rain or shine).  Too cute!!  My little guy was all over the balloons and so eager to pose which was so sweet, although when it was time to give up the lollipop he was more than a little upset.

Last week, I spent a wonderful morning with the G family.   Not only are they a beautiful family but their love for their little boy is so apparent.  We drove around Morinville and found a wonderful train bridge and then back to their house for an indoor session. Little L was such a trooper and stayed up way past nap time to get a few more shots.

Thank you for inviting me into your lovely home and making me feel so welcome.  Hope you enjoy your family pictures.

When Brayden and Kelly approached me to shoot their wedding they were unsure of where to do their photos and we also were very limited in time.  So when I suggested the University of Alberta, they were very uncertain having never stepped on campus before…but with a little faith and a lot of cool little nooks and crannies, I think their pictures turned out great.

Congratulations to the beautiful couple and I wish you many years of happiness…so here is your sneak peek!!  Enjoy!!
