So I hear this on almost a weekly basis…what do I wear? You could go to La Senza, Victoria Secret or La Vie en Rose…but why not try something a little different? Right now, there seems to be a huge trend in vintage wear (not that I am a fashionista in any way, shape or form).
But here are some unique suggestions…why not try Anthropologie (www.anthropologie.com) now open in West Edmonton Mall. Not only do they carry some beautifully unique pieces, they also carry some awesome vintage aprons (pair that apron with some fabulous heels and that would be an awesome ensemble). Another stop not to miss is H&M. They have an expansive collection of stockings and tights at very reasonable prices (fishnets for $6.95, yup!!). Finally, another stop I suggest is Urban Outfitters (also in West Edmonton Mall). They carry some really cool Betsy Johnson lingerie. Betsy Johnson designs are not for everyone, but for the most part they are bold, colorful and a little crazy.
So have fun, think out of the box and here are a few really cool visual suggestions taken from Anthropologie. Stay tuned for more tips….

This is a great idea for a Christmas or Anniversary present for your significant other. This is open to both women and couples. There are two spots remaining, so please get ahold of me soon. A $100 retainer will hold your spot.

As I am editing pictures for a blog, I usually think about what I am going to write about the couple…Rhonda and Spencer are an exceptional couple and I really don’t know what to say about them, but I will try. Whatever I write, people would think that they are too good to be true. But honestly, this is who they are…they are two of the most genuine people I have ever met. Their love for each other is intense and they compliment each other perfectly.
When I met with them to discuss locations, we decided that we would have a starting point and then whatever happened from there was cool (did I mention how laid back they are?). We had a blast with their wedding party and found some beautiful locations around St. Albert. Then, at the reception, Spencer brought the house down with a beautiful song he wrote, played and sang for his new wife. There was not a dry eye to be seen.
Thank you for including us in your day. We hope you had a blast (because we did!!) Enjoy.

I couldn’t resist posting another newborn shoot. This one is a little nearer and dearer to my heart as this is my cousin’s second little one. Little Mr. T is too precious for words. He is such a calm and curious guy and so full of expressions. He was only a few days old in this session and I am sure he has grown leaps and bounds since these were done a week and a half ago. His little sister wasn’t interested in having her picture with her little brother, she was more interested in posing and making the funniest faces she could.
Congrats E and J on your little man. We will have to try the brother and sister picture again. Enjoy…
