I am a huge history nerd, yes, I can admit it…a nerd.  When the H. family asked me to do a fall family session for them on their family land, I thought sure, no problem.  But when they told me part of the land made up the old Klondike Trail, I was in full steam ahead.  I won’t bore you with the cool details about hundreds of men hiking up hundreds of kilometers of trail to find riches of gold in the Yukon or how many perished along the way or how only a small handful of men actually made it to the finish line and even less of them found gold…that’s what google is for.

Instead, I will just share the pictures of this beautiful family.  The kids were more than willing to do anything I asked and the results are wonderful.  I hope you enjoy your pictures and thank you for asking me to help document your family.

This is the fourth time that I have had the privilege to meet with this family and photograph them.  It is so great to see how the kids have grown up over time and see how their little personalities have blossomed over the past few years.

Thank you again for allowing me to document your changing family.  Enjoy.

Families come in all shapes and sizes and Kristen and Tyrrell have a wonderful family of two beautiful dogs, Domino and Solitaire.  Domino, their newest puppy was full of energy and ready to run, but I managed to get a few images of him resting.

Hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Two family sessions blogged in one day, fall is certainly a busy time.  I met this wonderful family at a fashion shoot I did for K Foster Design last year.  They contacted me to document their newly expanded family.  Not only were the little girls so well behaved, but they did very well considering it was a little bit chilly.

Enjoy your pictures and I hope I captured the essence of your family.

Family sessions are in full swing for fall and my cousin and her family contacted me to shoot their session as well.  We met on yet another cloudy and drizzly Alberta afternoon on a beautiful country road speckled with farms, a stream and a lot of wheat.  We finished just in time as 10 minutes later the skies opened up.

Hope you enjoyed your session, here are a few sneak peeks.
