I love this family, they were way too funny, and the dog…was bored to tears!! It was hilarious. But I will let the pictures speak for themselves.
A Beautiful Vancouver Family Part Deux
May 19, 2011A Beautiful Vancouver Family
May 15, 2011Recently I had an opportunity to meet two wonderful families in Vancouver prior to our family adventure to Alaska. Not only were they a joy to photography, they have been very patient in getting their online galleries and blog.
Wait no longer…here is your sneak peek!!
Snow, Hay and Firefighters | A Calgary Photographer
April 29, 2011It has been a while since my last post, but I have been shooting a lot of boudoirs lately and no one willing to post their session on the blog. So this will have to suffice until my next post (a personal photo essay…my first).
I had a wonderful opportunity to work with Kurtis, a talented photographer who has mastered off camera flash and was willing to teach it. So off we went with a few eager photography junkies, two models and a lot of equipment. Our first stop…a hay barn. But with the cold Alberta wind and April snow, we didn’t last long outdoors. Our next stop, the fire station where both of our models work.
A huge thank you to our teacher, Kurtis and the wonderful models.
Waterfalls and Candied Apples | A Banff Engagement Session
March 29, 2011I love it when everything works out according to plan. We know from life that these things seldom happen. When Nicole and Mike contacted me to shoot their engagement session we set out a master plan which went something like this…Banff Springs Hotel (where they got engaged) then a hike to a waterfall, cue the snow and the deer, and then find a candy store making candied apples willing to let us shoot in it and then find some hoar frost. Well, plan executed and achieved!!
Nicole and Mike, thanks for being so wonderful and willing to go out of your way for this session. You are a pleasure to be around and your love for each other is amazing. I hope the plan that we create for your wedding in wine country goes as smoothly as your engagement session.
Enjoy your sneak peek!!
Calgary Boudoir Photographer
February 2, 2011My new boudoir studio is finally done (well, it is more a continuous work in progress which I expect will change slightly over time) and I am so excited to share the first images from my new studio space. Thank you to Ms. J. for allowing me to share these “modest” and beautiful boudoir pictures on my blog. I think they turned out magnificent (thanks to her) and believe that sometimes showing a little goes a long way.
I hope you enjoy these beautiful images of yourself and thank you so much for allowing me to share them.
