Some weddings touch my heart differently than others, this one was one of those.  Well, it should be, it was family…more specifically my sister-in-laws.  Surrounded by 38 of their loved ones Erin and Brian exchanged marriage vows in one of the most stunning landscapes Alberta has to offer.  We partied the night away with rousing games of horseshoes and bocce ball all while snacking on s’mores.  The neighbour across the lane from the venue brought over a donkey, yes…a donkey.

Erin and Brian, you two are so very special to me and I hope that I captured all the great moments of your day.  Thank you to all the friends and family who helped pull this wedding off in two months.  And most of all, congratulations to the beautiful couple.

Enjoy!!

A few years back I had the privilege of documenting Crystal and Shane’s wedding at Fort Edmonton Park.  That was the first time I met Angela, she was in Crystal’s wedding party.  Fast forward a couple years and it is now her turn to walk down that aisle.

Angela and Jake are a photographers’ dream.  Not only are they absolutely gorgeous, but they chose to meet prior to the start of their ceremony to do some pictures.  This doesn’t happen too often for me, but I love it.  It is such a special time with jitters still in their stomaches and the look of amazement in their eyes.

Congratulations to the happy and lovely couple.  Thanks for being fun, spontaneous and adorable.  I wish you all the happiness in the world.

Enjoy.

Once all the appropriately formal pictures were done, the couple surprised me with very dapper and sophisticated props!!  (I love it when this happens.)

Okay, so this is going to be a long one…I met Leanne and BJ over a year ago when they came to me to discuss wedding photography.  We had so much fun together at their engagement session last fall that I was so excited for their wedding.

So here are a few details….their wedding took place at the Red Tail Landing Golf Course just outside of Edmonton and was absolutely gorgeous!!  Their ceremony and reception site looked magnificent and was designed by Wedding Coordinator Kerry at Bride on a Budget.  Leanne and her bridesmaids had fabulous make up provided by Eclectica by Astrid Woodard.

Leanne and BJ, you are two of the most “in love” couples I have ever had the privilege to be around.  Thank you for choosing me to document your wedding, it is something I never take for granted.  I wish you many years of love and happiness and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek at your wedding images.

We had a great time with Angela and Chris and their wedding party.  They were a lot of fun and a little crazy (kinda like me), so it was just like being home!!  When we met to discuss locations, they were totally into finding places that meant a lot to them.   We went to Angela’s great-grandparent’s original homestead (100+ years old) and farm that is still in her family (so fantastic).  We also found an old farm truck on the side of the road and for a little color, some shipping containers (not that they were meaningful…just plain fun).

Angela and Chris, thanks for ‘channeling the romance’ and finding your inner diva (Angela…not Chris).  We hope you enjoy your honeymoon in California and your sneak peek at a few pictures.

When M and R contacted me about their wedding in Camrose, I was so excited, I love country pictures!!  Their wedding day came and it was one of the hottest days of the year so far.  I felt bad for the guys in all their layers, but I think the ‘beverages’ helped keep the heat away.

M and R, you are a such fantastic couple.  I had a blast shooting your wedding and I hope you  had a great time as well.  Congratulations and I hope you enjoy this sneak peek of your wedding pictures.
