Well, after a taking time off to move my family from Edmonton to Calgary, I am ready to start working 100% on photography again.  It is a good thing that Heather and Jeff are such good friends of ours, they were so understanding in waiting for their blog to be posted.  Well, I hope that the wait was worth it.

Heather, you were a stunning and elegant bride and I love how your pictures have turned out (Jeff, you cleaned up nicely).   Very rarely do I shoot a friend’s wedding, but Heather and Jeff were too fantastic to say no to.  Thanks again for trusting me with some of the most important images of your life.  I loved being included in your day and I can’t tell you how much we miss you two (…three with little your little man).

Enjoy the pictures…

Whenever I meet my couples and they ask me where they should do their pictures, I always answer…”somewhere meaningful for you as a couple”.  Caroline and Eldon’s answer to this question was a sushi restaurant in downtown Edmonton where they met.  So there we went…wedding party and all to the actual booth where they first saw each other (so cute!!).

Caroline and Eldon you are such a wonderful couple and you compliment each other perfectly!!  Thank you for trusting us to document one of the most important days of your lives.  This is an honour that we don’t take lightly and we hope we have captured the story of your day.  Enjoy the sneak peek…and I am holding a few of my favourites for the album.

To call this strictly a family session is a little misleading.  It was part family session, part engagement session (I have the wonderful task of shooting Heather and Jeff’s wedding next spring).  Their son, the handsome little Logan was quite the trooper and held up well against the chilly Alberta morning.

Heather, Jeff and Logan, I hope you enjoy your pictures and I am looking forward to your upcoming wedding.  You are truly wonderful people with hearts of gold!!  Thank you again for allowing me into the special moments of your lives.

After two weeks of very unpleasant fall/early winter weather,  Ashley and I were preparing for the worst…long john’s under dresses, winter boots and coats.  But warmer winds blew in and it turned out to be a wonderful day.

Ashley and Scott are two fantastic people and you can’t help love to be around them.  I had a ton of fun with both of them and their wedding party (but hopefully you can tell that from the images).

Congrats to the happy couple and enjoy your sneak peek to your wedding images.

Jen and Ted are great friends of ours and my kids absolutely love the both of them (and I am so honored that they asked me to shoot their engagement and wedding pictures).  We stepped out last weekend for an engagement session on a very chilly afternoon and had a great time exploring.

Thanks for being so adventurous and open to some crazy ideas.  I hope I have captured the fun and love that surrounds you two….enjoy your pictures.
